CAMP RESET (Coming 2017)

 

Camp Reset is a FREE camp committed to changing the life outcomes for girls and young women in the juvenile justice and foster systems by offering targeted supports and services in a monthly weekend camp. Some of the supports offered are mental health services; counseling specific to family, relationships, decision making and education; drug and alcohol prevention and intervention; gang prevention and intervention; career exploration and mentors; healthy lifestyles, including self-care, eating, coping tools, time management, healing from trauma, etc.; physical activity; and TONS OF FUN! Camp Reset allows girls and young women the opportunity to remove themselves from influences in their environments for the weekend and reset their focus in a structured environment, surrounded by supportive, caring adults and peers.
